Starting to map Google maps
This is a relatively recent intro video that is handy because it shows you how to create a Google map - using the place marking, route marking and shape marking features. It also talks about how to use the 'collaborate' function where you can allow anyone to add to your map or invite specific people to collaborate on it.
The creator of the video says that he thinks that this collaborate function is the best part of 'My Places' Google maps because it "leverages everybody's information to create something that is a lot more useful.'
